AVATAR

A new dry pea variety from the Middle Ages with excellent digestibility characteristics.
High yield and low trypsin inhibitor activity give it a very favourable value for use.
Yield: 3,0-5,0 t/ha

Middle-aged, half-leaf-knife type pea variety. Initial development is rapid, with a high growth rate (approximately 91 cm). The flower has a white color, its core is yellow, slightly cylindrical in shape. It has a medium weight of a thousand seeds (265 g), the uniformity of the colour of the seeds is very good, which is coupled with a high yield. It has average-good stem resistance before harvesting. It protects against diseases in a balanced way. It is moderately resistant to pea fungal diseases and root diseases, and even less damaged by viruses. Protein content of seeds is better than average (approximately 23%), moderately high protein production, very low trypsin inhibitor activity (TIU 2.6)%). The digestibility of the seed production of the variety is among the best. Recommended sowing standard is 0,9-1,0 million sprouts/ha. Protected variety (EU).
