It is a resistant species with good resistance to diseases, which is moderately water-intensive but, despite its relatively shallow root depth, usually tolerates drier periods as well. It provides a large amount of valuable fodder with balanced performance compared to other foddergrass species, it is mowed at the beginning of flowering, it prefers fresh soils. It's a good winter.
