Sudár rye-Bromus catharticus (Prérifű) is a salmon-rooted herb from South America. It is suitable for grazing and mowing alike, and is particularly plentiful in fresh areas, but can also be grown in dry conditions.
After a severe drought and a harsh winter, it will regrow again, in Hungary it is at least two years old. It can be used both as a pasture and as a mower.
