A POSEIDON a new, up-to-date and well-adapted variety which, according to operational experience, is characterised by a stable high productivity.
Its large grains with a high hectolitre weight and a slight flake are not only excellent feed, but also one of the preferred raw materials of the European milling industry. It demonstrates its competitiveness in oat-growing areas in nine countries across Europe, both in average and in the most intensive public production. In its official experiments, the NFCSO demonstrated its eligibility in the Hungarian crop structure, as an average of three years, with a high degree of stability in the vintage and production area.
Based on its outstanding productivity and favourable agronomic characteristics, it can be grown in Hungary with a high level of safety and above-average efficiency.
