Purple clover is an important greening and fodder plant.

It can be grown well in extensive, dry conditions, it is not demanding against the soil. Nitrogen binding begins soon, symbiosis of Rhizobium begins at the age of 3-5 leaves. It's an excellent preview. Strong spindle root penetrates up to 90 cm deep, the height of the plant is 60-70 cm. Thanks to its early, intensive flowering, it is a very good bee pasture. Proven fodder plant when sown cleanly and especially in a mixture.

The most common mixtures in practice are:

Girl's mixture: vetches, rye, wheat, barley or purple clover

Landsberg Mixture: 20 kg of purple clover+20 kg of Italian ryegrass+20 kg of spruce vetches per hectare.
