Seed production

A Pannon-Mag-Agriculture Ltd. performs contract seed production on 14,000 hectares of arable land and organic seed production on 700-1000 hectares per year. Our plant protection and seed management engineers inspect the fields from sowing to harvesting several times. They provide expert advice to the grower to ensure that appropriate weed-free seed is harvested, both in quality and quantity.

The raw material is processed, cleanliness and germination tested and certified in the seed plant equipped with modern cleaning machines and own laboratory, and the finished seed is sealed with the involvement of the staff of the NFCSO seed inspection.

Our aim is to work with domestic and foreign breeders' houses to select the seeds that best suit them from a wide range of varieties that can be successfully grown in Hungary. Our company on our own varieties - wood steel /LILLA ; white mustard /BEA ; oil radishes /DORA; English ryegrass /PHARMACEUTICAL – produces seeds of too many green manure plants, fodder plants, protein plants, cereals and industrial plants, from cultivation to sealing and marketing, so we can offer very competitive conditions to our domestic and foreign partners.

The distribution of pesticides, fertilizers and foliar fertilizers is closely linked to seed production, which we can offer to our contracted producers at advantageous prices.
